This feature is the integration of your store with the GFS Checkout and GFS Enterprise solution, to enable you to offer a comprehensive range of delivery options to your customers and tap into preferential delivery rates where available (usually for merchants that process over 50 consignments per day).
When customers view the delivery screen during the checkout process on your store, they'll be shown a selection of applicable courier choices based on their delivery address. The options will be shown within an accordion style display, and will include pricing, delivery date info, a calendar date picker for day-specific courier options, and a map for click and collect services where applicable.
In addition the integration will enable your store's admin system to interact with the GFS software installed on a local PC, via a SOAP service - this will allow you to create GFS shipments directly via order screens within your admin.
Please note that you need a relevant account with GFS to enable functionality, and are responsible for all associated/ongoing fees. Your store must also have the Enterprise Checkout module.
