Customer accounts make it easier for shoppers to buy from your store, and are a great way to encourage shoppers to return and make repeat purchases. To help build brand loyalty - and in some cases, brand advocacy - the account area you offer to your customers needs to be useful, feature-rich, and help to streamline the repeat shopping experience.

The standard customer accounts area for stores on our platform offers a wide range of info and options for shoppers. If you sell items that require you to share documentation as part of the process, such as personalisation proof PDFs, or you need to transfer files over to customers, you can further enrich your store’s customer accounts with the addition of a Customer Files Area.

The feature enables you to upload documents or files under 16MB to your store’s admin system, and then save them against a specific customer - multiple file types are accepted, including pdf, doc, docx ,xls, xlsx, csv, xml, ppt, pptx, zip, mp3, mp4, and flv. Once successfully uploaded, each file is viewable to you via the customer’s record in your admin, and to the applicable customer via the ‘My Files’ area in their customer account on your store.
