Understanding your customers and how they shop is a great way to inform the marketing campaigns for your business. Using available data, you can more effectively target shoppers based on their behaviour and purchasing habits, and encourage them to place further orders on your store.

At Visualsoft, we champion the use of analytical data to improve how retailers sell, and we provide a number of tools to help you learn more about your key customer, including the Customer Order Activity screen. Located within your store’s admin system, the screen enables you to filter your store's customers based on their order history, and you can filter order history within specified time frames - e.g. the last 12 months - to see which customers have ordered within that period, and which haven’t. You can also filter by successful and unsuccessful and order statuses.

This general overview of your customers' order activity can be useful in helping you re-engage with shoppers, as you can use it for sending targeted newsletters or discount codes to encourage customers to make a purchase from your business (e.g. a special discount offer for those that haven't placed an order in the last six months).
