Opsuite (Via TIDE API)

This feature is the integration of the Opsuite Retail Management System with a Visualsoft store, using the TIDEConnects cloud subscription service.
The integration supports the automation for a number of business processes:
\- Product Management
\- Inventory Synchronisation
\- Sales Order Processing
Product Management assumes that Opsuite is the master for all products. When new products are added to Opsuite, a draft product is created in Visualsoft. Data transferred includes Product Sku, Product Name, Product Description, Product Price, Product Cost, plus any Images stored in Opsuite. TIDE provides full support for product variations like size and colour. Once the draft is in Visualsoft, then the full array of Visualsoft tools can be used to add descriptive information and SEO to the products before they are published.
When an existing product is updated in Opsuite, the product in Visualsoft is updated with all changes. Options are available to ensure that images and descriptions in Visualsoft are not overwritten.
Opsuite is queried every five minutes, and any new products or product changes are transferred to Visualsoft.
Inventory or stock levels are synchronised between Opsuite and Visualsoft. Opsuite is queried every five minutes and stock levels, for any product that has changed because of a sale made in store, or a sale is made online or new stock being received, are transferred to Visualsoft for any product that has changed.
\*\*Sales Order Processing\*\*
TIDE queries Visualsoft every five minutes to pick up any new sales orders. If new orders are found, TIDE extracts details about the products and quantities purchased, prices paid, payment method, shipment charges, taxes paid and customer details and creates an order in Vend. The sales is typically written to a dedicated register in Opsuite so that sales can be separately reported. Stock levels are updated for products sold and a new customer record is created if it doesn’t already exist, using Customer email as the key.
If any additional functionality is required other than as described, please let TIDE know prior to production as this may incur additional development costs. Please also note that to enable this feature, you will require a subscription to TIDEConnects as well as a license for Opsuite, and are responsible for all associated costs.

This feature does not cover the extensive work and additional costs entailed with migrating from one EPOS system/feature to another, or adding an EPOS to a site which is already live - if you're looking to move systems, or add a new system to your live site please contact us to discuss a bespoke quotation.
