Volume discounting is the sales practice of rewarding customers for purchasing more of a particular product, and is a tried and tested method that’s used by many online retailers and brands to successfully increase the average order value of a store. By incentivising shoppers - particularly B2B customers - to order a greater volume of items in exchange for a larger discount, you’re ultimately more likely to profit from a higher value sale, and it can also help you to compete more effectively against other online retailers that stock similar items.

With our Product Price Breaks feature you can easily offer a series of discounted price rates for items purchased in bulk - for example, you can choose to sell a £10 product at £9 per unit if quantities of ten or more are purchased, and sell that same at item at £7.50 per unit for order quantities over 20, and so forth. You can set up your price breaks for relevant products via your store’s admin system, and they’ll be displayed on related product pages to encourage shoppers to increase the size of their order in return for even better value.
